One highlight of the program is the Deep Pass Wilderness Camp in the Blue Mountains, near Katoomba. Students participate in a six day camp which involves travelling to Sydney by air and then by bus to the Blue Mountains.

The camp is led by members of the Australian School of Mountaineering who provide opportunities for abseiling, rock climbing, caving, bushwalking, Aboriginal historical site recognition and basic survival in the bush. This experience allows for social development and leadership roles to develop, and an intense bonding of the group as students and adults must rely on each other for help and support in order to complete the activities.
